Welcome to our new site

Over the coming months we will be publishing a series of features on a variety of subjects, all linked to Norwich's heritage.

We promise they will be well researched and hopefully both entertaining and informative. We hope you enjoy our efforts and encourage others to visit us.

Why are we doing this?

In the past we have taken pleasure in writing and publishing books, but each publication typically takes us two years. We have often come across new and related subjects that we would enjoy investigating and presenting, but we just haven't had had the time to pursue. Writing shorter articles gives us the opportunity to do just this, and we look forward to publishing the fruits of our research on this site.

Our Publications

Since 2010, when we published 'A Market for our Times', we have written four more books on the City's Pubs & Breweries, its Shoe Trade, the Old Courts & Yards, and Norwich in the 1950s.
